Paradigms

Sacredness is an attribute of Divinity and is shared by Creation.
It can also be enhanced, stored, concentrated and renewed.

Everything in the universe is aware and can be spoken with.

The world has both physical and non-physical elements.
The physical laws are well-known, the non-physical are not.

In the dimension of relationship, size and distance are irrelevant.
You and the mountain meet on equal terms.

Love is an energy, not an emotion, both powerful and practical.

Generosity is a way of coming into harmony.

Death is a loss of form, not a loss of life.

Our family was sitting in our van, waiting in a ferry line,
when suddenly, my daughter (four or five at the time) asked
"How did God make water?"
After I stammered a bit, she said, "Maybe I should ask him."
(I'd been meditating a bit and telling her I was "talking to God.")

She turned around in her car seat and started murmuring.
After a few moments she turned back and announced, quite happily,
"He said he made it out of himself."
